Today my new theme is approved by WordPress.org. I’m very pleased to see the theme on the first page of the free themes directory!
This time I’ve made a theme with a bit of a grunge look. The background is a nice green wooden texture wich gives the theme a fresh look. For Comment Central I’ve used the Suckerfish dropdown menu.
If you enjoy this theme or you have a question or comment, please leave a message.

Another fine piece of work. It deserves the spot on page 1.

Very nice piece, I would like to use it in my wp, Good work man!

Thanks for this excellent WP theme. It’s just great – I’ll use it as soon as possible
Happy new year =)

Very cool theme. Is it possible to change the color from green to a natural wood color? Any issues with WP 2.9?
Joe — January 3, 2010
Hi Joe,
I’ve tested the theme with WP 2.9 and discovered no problems.
At the moment it is not possible to change the color from the background. Unless you use Photoshop. Maybe i add the same function as in the Color3 theme in the near future. A brown background is then a possible option.

Thanks for the good work, is there any instructions on how to customize the theme?
Qing — January 10, 2010
Hi Qing,
There are no instructions on how you can customize my theme. If you want to change something and don’t now how, you can always ask.
If you use Firefox try Firebug!

I just love this! I customized the background images a bit (changing color and the back tag) but it still has the overall look and feel you produced. Very nice!

Thank you for this great theme. We have posted this theme to our blog. Thank you!

I want to get archives and categories out of the top navigation – how?? Can anyone help?
gabrielle — January 12, 2010
We’d love to work with you to customize this design slightly for our business. Could you email us to discuss! Thanks!!!
Ashley — January 12, 2010
Hi,
Thank you so much for the theme. It’s great. I only have a question. I don’t want archives and categories displayed by my pages. How can I delete that? and I rather not have the sentence: no comments on the upper right corner of my post, as same as ‘ uncategorized’ at the end of my post. How can I delete that? Thank you so much!
Stephanie
stephanie — January 12, 2010
Hi Stephanie,
If you like 2 customize the theme you have to dig into the code. For example: The comment no comment tag you can find in the index.php
good luck

Hi Frank,
I seemed to have problems displaying the date. Could you help? Thanks.
Ronni — January 14, 2010
@ Stephanie and Gebrielle
To get the categories and archives out of the top navigation you can edit the file suckerfish.php. Either delete or comment out the list items for Categories and Archives.
@Frank
If you could find a way to enable replies on comments I might help you out with your theme support here more often

From where did you get the ticket “Bad-Hotel Verenahof”. It’s a very antique hotel in my hometown. Funny to see it on your theme! (http://www.verenahof.ch/presse.html)
Claudio Beffa — January 18, 2010
Great theme – good to see some creativity that still doesn’t lose sight of functionality! I have used it on my website – http://hydroponic-aeroponics.com/ – what do you think?
Jason — January 20, 2010
Hi Claudio,
I’ve collected some tags for my web design. One of them is the ticket from the Bad-Hotel Verenahof. I think I’ve found it with Google images….

I am using the comment central template, and I would like to remove “Archive” and “Categories” from the top menu. How do I do that?
Thank you in advance,
-Romeo
Romeo — January 20, 2010
Thanks for your theme. I changed some things, but I really relied heavily on your CSS sheet. Thanks
Luke — February 5, 2010
Hey great theme – how do I take out the about/archives/categories links altogether along with their background image?
GC — February 5, 2010
Hi Luke,
Great job, most of the time people change the theme into something horrible! But yours looks great. Nice job m8!

Another question – how can I incorporate images into the category listing on the left nav? I was thinking of using small banners for each category instead of text. Let me know..thanks =)
narvolicious — February 15, 2010
Oops, don’t think my first question got posted—how do I replace the logo on upper left with an image (PNG image)? I notice right now in Firebug it’s an h1
narvolicious — February 15, 2010
You have to dig into the stylesheet and suckerfish.php to get the job done.
good luck,
Frank

I love this theme but the only problem is that it doesn’t render correctly in IE6. The top menu misaligns and pushes everything further down the page. Seeing as a lot of people still use IE6, is there a CSS workaround available?
Thanks for any help.
jeanny — February 21, 2010
Hi Jeanny,
I’m aware of the problem in IE6. Themebuilder no longer actively supports IE6 or below. I’m sorry.
Greetings,
Frank

Trying to change the blog title to a logo..can you lead me in the right direction?
andrew — February 26, 2010
how to remove “Archive” and “Categories” and “Meta” from the left menu.
korek — February 27, 2010
Hi Frank,
Thank you very much for your fantastic theme. I love that it’s very professional looking but with a creative feel – you’re very talented!
I hope you don’t mind but I changed the colour of the wood to brown to make it look like a shed which suits the feel of my website better and adapted the lettering on the tags.
Thanks again!
Karen — March 1, 2010
Great theme!!!!!
Unlike most people here, I’d love to have Archives and Categories in the Top Navi, but somehow there’s only a very small green field where there should be the navigation…someone experienced the same problem or knows a solution???
Marcel — March 4, 2010
Hi Marcel,
Could you give me the URL so i can have a look?
Frank
Frank — March 4, 2010
Korek, have a look at the frontpage….
Frank — March 4, 2010
Sure. There you go: http://tinyurl.com/ybpmmzx
Thanks!
Marcel — March 7, 2010
On the Widgets, I activated the Text Links and put in links to social media sites – Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube. The icons/logos were uploaded and these links show up fine on all the main pages. However, on nested pages the icons/logos don’t appear for some reason – but the links work.
Why are the images not appearing?
Thanks.
Dave Fowler — March 17, 2010
Wow….aweseome. I love the green, wooden background and the whole structure of the template, but i would like to change the things around, like the “Bad Hotel….”-label to make it a little bit more personal. Is it ok if I do some changes (of course I dont delete the link in the footer)?
Chris — March 18, 2010
How do I change my header title. It now has the name of my site dot com and I want to change it. Thanks!
Esther — March 19, 2010
Just look under settings in Tour admin panel…..

Wonder how I could remove the comment box from a static page but leave it on the posts?
Kirsti — June 8, 2010

Hi Frank…
I really need your help.. whether it’s possible to enlarge the width of the content box to the right size? like 1cm wider… I know it’s possible, and I also know it’s all in CSS file, but the problem is that i am not a programmer
Please advice.. and btw, I increased a link of the themebuilder.nl on our homepage as well, not only links exchange page..
Thanks again..
Simon — July 20, 2010
…enlarge the width of the content box to the right side?… it’s right side, not size.. Sorry.
Simon — July 20, 2010
Hi Frank. Really like the Comment Central theme. It’s a change to find something so different.
I am having an issue with the hyperlinks which refuse to show underlined and in blue. Have ‘forced’ one by manually changing the text settings but am having difficulty with others.
can you advise of a way around this ?
Thanks
Brian
Brian — June 28, 2011
Hi Brian,
It’s possible to change this in the stylesheet of the theme.
